  2. Get 1 onion

  1. Clean the squid and cut them into small square shapes or cut them circularly.

  3. To this add chilli powder and turmeric.saute till it's raw smell goes.to this add coconut pieces and tomatoes and cook them well.
  4. Now add squid, enough salt,garam masala and mix everything well.cook the mixture either in a pressure cooker for 3 to 4 whistles or cover the pan and cook till the squid is done.
  5. Add curry leaves and serve hot with rice or chapathis
