  1. Use Peppers (Red or Green)
  2. Provide Ground beef
  3. Use Hot or Mild Italian sausage
  4. Get Rice
  5. Use Spaghetti Sauce
  6. Use Black pepper
  7. Get Salt
  8. Use Onion (I use powder)
  9. You need Cayenne Pepper
  10. Get Garlic (Minced or powder)
  11. Prepare Mozzarella
  12. Take Oregano
Steps to make Spicy Beef & Sausage Stuffed Peppers:
  1. Wash hands. Then wash and remove stems and seeds of each pepper by cutting out the tops, leaving a cup-like design.
  2. Grab a baking pan or non stick dish
  3. Parboil peppers for 5 minutes then set aside, in baking dish
  4. Cook rice according to package. 5 minute rice works great
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F
  6. On the stove top, brown ground beef and Italian sausage. Optional whether you brown together or separately. I do it separately.

  10. OPTIONAL: Use breadcrumbs and a couple tablespoons of melted butter mixed together. After filling the peppers with meat, spread a little crumb mixture on each pepper before baking. Then proceed to next step
  11. Bake peppers for 40 minutes.
  12. Top with mozzarella and a dash of oregano and place back in oven till melted and browned. A broiler could be used as well. (I do)
