The ingredients needed to make Cake Pops:
- Prepare 1 Cake mix, any type, from a box or homemade.
- Take 1 Chocolate
- Provide 1 Lollipop sticks, or straws.
- Take 1 Sprinkles, or other decorational products
- You need 1 Frosting
Steps to make Cake Pops:
- Bake a cake, any type.
- Leave to completely cool.
- Place the cake in a bowl and crumple it all up, kids will love this!! Mash it untill it's all crumbs.
- Choose a flavour of frosting you like and add as much as you need until it becomes something of a dough again. Use anything you like, butter cream, ganache even plain icing will do the trick!!
- Use a spoon or ice-cream scoop to scoop out little balls of the mixture, roll them between your palms until they're as close to spheres as they can get!!
- Place each ball onto some greaseproof paper and put them into the freezer for about 10 minutes until they're firm.
- Melt some chocolate, milk, white or dark.
- Dip the lollipop stick or straw into the chocolate and insert about half way into each of the balls.
- Dip each ball into the chocolate,
- Set aside to completely cool until the chocolate hardens.
- Dip into the chocolate once again to make sure they're complety covered.
- Top with sprinkles or other sweet delights, a good idea is to pipe a design with buttercream onto the balls, experiment a lot with these!!
