- You need 2 cups Pasta
- Take 2 tsp Onion Garlic paste
- Prepare As per choice Veggies
- Provide As per taste Salt and black pepper
- You need 1 small tomato
Instructions to make 5 ingredients Pasta:
- Boil 2 cups of pasta(serves 2) for 4 minutes in medium heat. After the pasta is boiled perfectly, remove the pasta from the vessel and keep the starchy water(about 1 cup) as we may need it later.
- Take 2 tbsp of onion-garlic paste or chop finely. Which I prefer personally. Chop veggies that you want to add. Take 1 fresh tomato and blend in to get the puree.
- Now, in high heat and 2 tbsp of oil, fry the onions and garlic, either the paste or chopped. After 2 minutes, you can smell the flavours. Meanwhile, season the boiled pasta with black pepper powder and salt.
- Add salt and the veggies in the pan. Turn the heat medium. Add tomato puree or sauce would do as well. Cook the things(veggies, onion-garlic, tomato sauce) in the pan until the veggies are fried well.
- Now as the base is well cooked and flavours are sealed, add in the well seasoned soft pasta. Cook for another 3 minutes. Turn the heat low.
- Now the special touch. To make the pasta more thick, flavorsome and heavenly, add the 1 cup of starchy thick water removed in step no.1. Cook for another minute in low heat and mix well!
