  1. Provide butter
  2. Provide caster sugar
  3. Provide porridge oats
  4. Use plain flour
  5. Use honey
  6. Prepare sweet ground cinnamon
Instructions to make Simply Oat Cookies:
  1. Heat the oven to 180c and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  2. Whisk the oats, flour and cinnamon together
  3. Next melt the butter, sugar and honey together in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Once the butter has fully melted stir into the oats until its combined well.
  5. If you don't mind getting messy use your hands to form balls otherwise use an ice cream scooper or two spoons.
  6. Place the balls on the lined tray. Flatten the balls either using the plam of your hands or a spoon. Continue until all the dough has finished. Remember to space evenly so it allows some room for the cookies to expand.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. If you want them slightly chewy and not crunchy then just below the 15 minute mark should do.
  8. Once baked transfer to a cooling rack for at least 15 minutes.
