The ingredients needed to cook Easy Unniyappam:
  1. Use bananas mashed
  2. You need Rice flour
  3. You need All purpose flour
  4. Prepare jaggery syrup
  5. Use salt
  6. You need coconut shredded
  7. Use cardamom powder
  8. Prepare water
  9. You need baking soda
  10. You need Ghee/Clarified butter
Instructions to make Easy Unniyappam:
  1. Heat the jaggery in some water till it forms a syrup.Keep the syrup aside to cool.
  2. Now mix rest of the ingredients except ghee to form a medium thick batter.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan.
  4. Spoon the batter using a teaspoon and drop in hot ghee/oil.(should be medium sized round shape)
  5. Toss in the ghee until all sides turn lightly brown in color.
  6. Make sure oil is on medium high flame and not too high!
  7. You can fry upto 4 unniypapams in a medium sized pan, at a time.
