- In a bowl, add the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix thoroughly and set aside
- In a small bowl, add the butter and melt in a microwave or inside boiling water. Add the egg and whisk together
- If using powdered full cream milk, dissolve 3 tablespoons of milk in 1 cup of water and add to butter and egg and whisk thoroughly.
- Start adding the dry ingredients little by little to avoid lumps. Scrape off batter from the edge of the bowl and mix properly. Add the vanilla extract and give it one good stir.Do not over mix. Leave to sit for 5 mins and clean up ur used utensils π
- On a low heat, heat up the oil in a pan(I didn't use oil cos I used non stick pan). Use 1/3 of ur measuring cup to scoop the batter into the pan starting from the middle.
- When u start seeing bubbles, use the spatula to flip and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from heat. Continue until the batter is finished. I got 5 medium pancakes.
- Ur tasty pancake is ready! U can add maple syrup, butter, honey, fresh fruit or jam as toppings. Enjoy!.ππ
