The ingredients needed to prepare Red Beans and Rice:
- Take 2 lb red beans
- Get 1 onion
- Get 3 toes of garlic
- Use 1 lb pickled meat
- Get 1 tbls parsley
- Prepare 1 lb cut up smoked sausage
- Use 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Get 1 cup chopped celery
- Get 2 bay leaves

- Sort through beans to remove any bad ones or pebbles. Rinse beans a couple of times.

- Add chopped onion, garlic, celery, salt, pepper, baking soda, parsley and bay leaves
