The ingredients needed to cook Stroganoff:
- Prepare 1/2 red onion finely chopped
- Take Small clove garlic, crushed
- Take 1/2 lemon zested
- Prepare Handful mixed mushrooms, roughly chopped
- Provide Small bunch coriander or parsley
- Use 120 g fillet steak bashed to 1/2cm thick and cut in to strips

- Use Knob unsalted butter
- Take Brandy (good splash)
- Use 25 ml sour cream
- Prepare Green beans
- Prepare Potatoes for mash
Steps to make Stroganoff:
- Season meat w paprika, s&p, lemon zest.
- Put potatoes on to boil
- Fry onion w garlic til soft. Add mushrooms and butter, sauté until golden. Remove from pan.
- Steam greens
- Fry beef for two mins til brown but still pink inside, turning. Stir mushroom /onion mix back in, add brandy and reduce for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in cream and coriander.
