  1. Heat water in a pan. Once the water starts to boil, add salt, baking soda and maize flour to water and mix well. Turn off the flame and cover with a lid. Keep aside for 5 minutes.
  2. After 5 minutes transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add plain flour, carom seeds, oregano, pepper powder and knead a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into medium sized balls. Place the ball in between 2 greased plastic or butter paper and roll thin. Grease the plastic with oil.

  5. Fry on medium flame till it turns golden. You can store these chips in an airtight container.
  6. For cheese dip, in a bowl take butter, cheese and milk. Melt it using double boiler method or microwave for 2 minutes at 4 intervals of 30 seconds each. Lastly add turmeric powder and mix well using a whisker or blend using a hand blender for around 10 seconds. Cheese dip is ready.
